The dosing ring is placed on the portafilter and significantly reduces the scattering of the coffee grounds when grinding directly into the portafilter. It is particularly helpful with statically charged grounds.
Even if the coffee powder is still distributed with a needling tool, the ring reduces spillage of the coffee powder enormously.
The dosing ring fits perfectly on 51 mm portafilters.
