The Lightning Needle Distributor Pro increases extraction and reduces portafilter clogging. It allows for a more even distribution of the coffee grounds. The stirring breaks up any coffee lumps and evenly distributes the coffee density within the puck. The result is a reduction in channeling and a consistent extraction.
By turning the ring, the spacing between the needles can be continuously adjusted. When extended, the mixing surface is larger, resulting in more efficient clump breaking. Furthermore, the needles are flat and straight, eliminating the problem of easy puncture during use.
With WDT tools, the needles are often damaged by being dropped. With the Lightning Needle Distributor Pro, the needles extend at the push of a button and are automatically retracted by a hand movement or turning the tool over. This protects the needles at all times and makes the tool suitable for mobile use. Furthermore, the built-in springs provide good feedback when distributing the powder.
