This is the second generation of the needle distributor from MHW 3Bomber.
By turning the lid, the spacing between the needles can now be continuously adjusted. When extended, the mixing surface is larger, resulting in more efficient clump breaking. Furthermore, the needles are now flat and straight, eliminating the problem of easy punctures during use.
This needle distribution tool increases extraction and reduces portafilter clogging. It allows for a more even distribution of the coffee grounds. The stirring breaks up any coffee lumps and evenly distributes the coffee density within the puck. The result is a reduction in channeling and a consistent extraction.
The entire WDT tool is made of high-quality materials. The handle is made of aluminum alloy, the 8 needles (plus 6 spare needles) are made of stainless steel (SUS304), and the holder is made of steel.
The needle tips have a diameter of only 0.4 mm. This WDT tool from MHW 3Bomber allows for finer adjustment than conventional WDT tools.
With WDT tools, the needles are often damaged by dropping them. This Needle Distribution Tool is equipped with three small magnets. These magnets adhere the needle distribution tool to the holder, thus protecting the needles.
6 replacement needles are included, which can be easily replaced as the handle has a screw mechanism.
