The SE Pro needle distributor ensures an even distribution of the coffee powder and thus a consistent extraction.
When pressed, the base with the needles lowers and rotates according to the principle of concentric circles. 14 needles in different positions create 14 tracks, which lead to an even distribution of the coffee grounds and thus improved extraction performance. The rotation breaks up any coffee lumps and evenly distributes the density of the coffee in the puck. The result is a reduction in channeling and a consistent extraction.
The innovative design allows for precise and stepless depth adjustment (20-30 mm), so that this needle distributor can be used with different sieves.
The dosing funnel fits perfectly on 58 mm portafilters with two ears. Not compatible with the 58 mm portafilter for Gaggia.
The entire needle dispenser is made of high-quality materials. The handle and base are made of aluminum alloy, and the 14 needles and 14 spare needles are made of stainless steel (SUS304).
The needle tips have a diameter of just 0.25 mm. This allows this WDT tool from MHW 3Bomber to achieve finer adjustments than conventional WDT tools. Additionally, magnets are integrated into the base for precise positioning and fixation.
When not in use, the needles are hidden in the base so the tool can be easily stored.
