Another advantage is that minimal contact with the coffee grounds keeps the brewing head clean and tidy. The coffee cake becomes more compact and can be ejected in one piece without leaving a mess.
This puck sieve fits perfectly on 58 mm portafilters.
Through repeated testing, MHW 3Bomber has determined that 58.5 mm is the perfect size. It fits perfectly into 58 mm portafilters and reduces coffee grounds waste.
The sieve is only 0.2 mm thick, making it ultra-thin, so there's no need to reduce the amount of coffee grounds. The entire sieve is made of stainless steel (SUS304), making it extremely robust and durable. It also features a black titanium coating.
